Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Currently we are in need of a dedicated Corporate Marketing Coordinator to join the team! The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual who is an effective communicator and a creative problem solver that has previous experience in Marketing. Reporting to the Marketing Management team, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the ongoing corporate marketing initiatives and event management.

The Role:

Specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Manage the strategy and development of content for corporate social media;
  • Developing corporate advertising and communications strategy including but not limited to newsletters, e-blasts, digital media, and traditional media;
  • Assisting and leading ongoing corporate marketing initiatives;
  • Coordinating corporate events and sponsorships
    • Working with the marketing team to develop and execute on promotional events;
    • Deliver performance evaluation by conducting research and tacking campaign development and collating results;
    • Tracking and reporting corporate marketing budget;
    • Managing corporate website;
    • Coordinating with Public Relations companies for press releases and media relations;
    • Coordinating corporate events and sponsorships;
      • Working with the marketing team to develop and execute on promotional events;

The Candidate:

Applicants for the roll must have the following:

  • Work experience in a marketing capacity, preferably in the real estate development industry;
  • Previous experience with social media management and digital marketing;
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing;
  • Previous experience in event management;
  • Ability to take direction from multiple sources;
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite programs;
  • A willingness to ask questions and find solutions;
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and pride in Townline’s tradition of excellent service to our customers, trades, suppliers, working partners and staff

Successful candidate will be required to provide official documentation confirming receipt of two (2) doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, as recognized for use in Canada, prior to starting employment.  Continued employment will be conditional on receiving, and providing confirmation of, any additional “booster” vaccine doses, as recommended by the Ministry of Health & Provincial Health Officer.  Exceptions based on medical, religious or other valid grounds will be considered on a case by case basis.
